Is Hongcun worth visiting?

Hongcun is not fun. The price is a combined ticket of 94 yuan.
First, there are many people, many tourist groups, and many students doing sketching. Basically, all the beautiful scenes you see are occupied early by students doing sketching.

Second, it has a strong commercial atmosphere. For example, tea leaves are displayed in frying pans. We bought from a tea stall where tea was being fried and there was a tea fragrance. We were pleasantly surprised and happy to find that it was freshly fried. While chatting with the stall owner, he also said that for others, the tea leaves are just placed in the pans. Mine are freshly fried. I just sold a pot. He said it was 20 yuan a bottle. We thought that if freshly fried is 20 yuan, and those placed in the pan are 10 yuan, then let’s bargain to 15 yuan a bottle. Unexpectedly, the big brother agreed.
After buying it and leaving, we remembered that we hadn’t taken a dynamic picture of frying tea leaves. When we went back, we saw this big brother pouring pre-fried tea leaves that he didn’t know when they were wholesale into the pan from a large plastic bag and then pretending to fry them. Fraud! Fraud!!

For example, in the alleys of Hongcun, there are all original villagers. From chatting, we learned that the houses belong to them. The government has not taken them back. No matter how small the house is, they have to open a window or door to sell goods, including tea leaves, hairy tofu, pickled radishes, sesame seed cakes and other foods, commemorative coins, fridge magnets, bookmarks, fans and other souvenirs, sour plum soup, ice creams, watermelon juice and other beverages, and makeup and styling shops. No matter whether it is an original resident or a merchant renting a storefront, it’s not cheap. The prices for original residents are also scenic area prices. There is no human touch overall. I don’t like it.
