Recently, many friends have asked me about one-day tours and situations where there are children or elderly people with poor legs and difficulty climbing mountains. As the homestay is quite busy and sometimes I reply to messages slowly, I will write an article about a fast and non-climbing tour route and method for everyone’s reference.
The first route is after entering the park, take a bus about 50 meters away and get off at Huxingdi Station. Then directly take the cableway to the top. You can walk for a while in the direction of the beacon tower. Take pictures and keep memories at the junction of Anhui and Hubei. Record it and there is also the altitude. It is relatively flat and the time is relatively short, about 20 minutes. Then walk back to where you got off the cableway and take the cableway down the mountain. From the cableway, you can see waterfalls and so on. Then take the bus back to the entrance. Don’t go to the Baima Grand Canyon in the middle because the canyon also has some distance. This route is mainly suitable for very young children or elderly people with very poor legs and those who are in a hurry!

The second route continues from the first one. After getting off the cableway and arriving at Huxingdi, if you want to see the waterfall up close, you can walk for about 5 to 10 minutes to the first waterfall. This waterfall has a large drop and is very photogenic. It is also very close. Then take the bus to the entrance and exit of the canyon. Then explore the canyon. It takes about one and a half hours. Except for the beginning of the canyon where there are more steps and it is a bit steeper, the rest is very flat and you can walk. This is suitable for those who want to visit two scenic spots, are in a hurry, and the children are not very young and can walk a bit. The elderly can also walk a bit. By the way, don’t play on the Baima plank road. Otherwise, it will be too tiring. It is also at the entrance and exit of the canyon. Don’t go the wrong way. As mentioned before, there is also a dividing point.
The third route continues from the first one. Take the cableway to Huxingdi and then take the bus directly to the entrance. Then you can take children to play in the water. It’s on the road after getting off the bus. There is a place opposite a liquor store among a row of specialty shops where you can go down to play in the water. The water is very clear and clean. This is suitable for taking children to play in the water. The water in the canyon is too deep and not very suitable. Or you can directly come out. In the afternoon, go play rafting and then take a bath and go home. If you want to rest for a while, that’s also fine. Stay at my home, hahaha.
For a one-day tour, these are the three methods. You can combine them with the two-day tour guide and some introductions and flexibly adjust your time. Actually, everyone spends different amounts of time. I wish everyone a pleasant journey.
