China Visa Invitation Letter
When applying for most Chinese visas, it is necessary to provide an invitation letter (LOI) to demonstrate the legitimacy of the upcoming visit. This important supporting document should be submitted alongside other materials to increase the chances of a successful application.
The invitation letter is typically issued by a unit (such as a company, school, or other organization) or an individual residing in China. The main content of the invitation letter should include clear and accurate information about the invitee, the inviter, and the planned visit. When writing the letter, the inviting party needs to ensure that the title and details in the invitation are accurate and complete.
There is no fixed format for the invitation letter; it can be sent via fax, photo, photocopy, or computer printout. When submitting the China visa application, it is strongly recommended to provide the original invitation letter, although in most cases, a photocopy is also acceptable.
