Travel Tips
  1. There are a lot of people queuing for the elevator from the 11th floor to the 1st floor. If you want to see the scenery inside Hongyadong, it is recommended to walk downstairs.
  2. It is free to enter the scenic area, and reservations are rarely required. Only the entertainment projects inside the scenic area are charged.
  3. When you go to Hongyadong at night, there are many scalpers on the 11th-floor platform who will tell you that it’s the last shift of the cruise ship. It’s best not to believe them. Book online in advance and go directly to avoid being cheated and not being able to find anyone. You can also find customer service on the online platform.
  4. Also, don’t believe those ladies who say they can take you through the fast lane. The entrance from the 11th floor to the 1st floor of Hongyadong is the route mentioned before. Besides taking the elevator, you can only walk downstairs.
  5. Avoid the hot pot restaurants around Hongyadong. They are both expensive and not tasty. For Chongqing hot pot, either choose big brands or eat hot pot in residential buildings. The taste is more authentic.
